Arabica coffee of Blue Mountain varieties, Washed, and grown at 1000 - 1700 meters of altitude

Jamaica is one of the islands located in the Caribbean.

The country has the famous Blue Mountains that reach a height of more than 2,000 meters above sea level. These mountains lie in the Blue and John Crow Mountain National Park in southeast Jamaica.

The mountains are part of 6% of the total island. Where some forests are still preserved in order to protect the nature of Jamaica.

They have a biosphere reserve that has a large part of the country's flora and fauna. To be exact there are 600 species of animals and seven types of vegetation and approximately 4,300 species of flora that house within this place. The mountains happen to be one of the highest in the Caribbean region.

The Blue Mountains or Blue Mountains of Jamaica were nominated as World Heritage in the Mixed Cultural and Natural category by UNESCO during its 39th session, which took place in Bonn, Germany.

The economic support of the country is tourism, agriculture and mining.

Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is known for its certification mark worldwide overseen by the Jamaican Coffee Industry Board.

The height where coffee cultivation is allowed is from 1,000 masl to 1,700 masl, since above 1,700 meters it already becomes a forest reserve.

Considered one of the roundest coffees on the market in terms of aroma, body, and acidity.
