Thyme, taken as an infusion, helps to alleviate respiratory problems. It is by no means the only property of thyme, since it is also antiseptic and disinfectant thanks to its thymol content. The infusion is made by incorporating a tablespoon in boiling water and letting it rest for five minutes and drinking after straining it.
